Undergraduate Admission Criteria for Fall 2026
|
The IBA has carefully reviewed the challenges faced by A-Level candidates in the recent examination cycle, particularly concerns relating to the Mathematics examination. While IBA remains committed to maintaining its academic standards and announced admission criteria, a special provision has been approved for the current admission cycle. Candidates who have not met the prescribed eligibility criteria have been granted a one-time opportunity to retake and improve any one A-Level subject in the upcoming October/November 2026 A Level examination and subsequently meet the announced eligibility criteria by January 2027, prior to the commencement of the Spring 2027 semester. Until the announcement of the retake results, admission shall remain conditional/provisional. Failure to fulfill the eligibility criteria by January 2027 will result in the cancellation of admission. This special provision shall not apply to applicants of the BS Business Analytics (BSBA) and BS Accounting & Finance (BSAF) programs. The eligibility criteria for these programs shall remain unchanged and must be fully met in August 2026 in accordance with the announced admission requirements. Candidates applying under this special provision, other than those seeking admission to BSBA and BSAF, who expect to meet the eligibility criteria through the improvement of one A-Level subject in the October/November 2026 examination, are required to submit the relevant documents at the Program Office, IBA Main Campus by Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Such candidates will also be required to sign an undertaking acknowledging the conditions associated with the provisional admission. IBA reserves the right to cancel the provisional admission of any candidate who fails to fulfill the announced eligibility requirements within the prescribed timeline. Note: Existing voucher can be used for payment as deadline has been extended from the backend. |
